Info Post
This has the potential to be a great weekend what with the Super Bowl going down on Sunday and Brock Lesner making his UFC debut on Saturday night. I was trying to think of some good Super Bowl memories to share or maybe make a top 10, but most of them aren't really printable, due to the fact that often through my 30 years of watching them I was at some big party or something and lots of the games have been a bit boring and it often lead to drunken debauchery. I remember one at a good friend's house where after we all left, he apparently fell alseep on the couch... with a woman... who wasn't his wife. His wife came downstairs later and needless to say he got a "roughing the passer" penalty of sorts. The story ends 2 years later, on Super Bowl Sunday again, when he married the couch girl. True story.

4 new films drop in the theaters this weekend and we get a couple of comedies, a concert film and another horror movie.

The Eye

The Plot: A young woman (Jessica Alba) receives an eye transplant that -- like it or not -- allows her to see into the supernatural world.
My Thoughts: Jessica Alba is one of the hottest women on the planet, with her own eyes or borrowing someone else's. This looks interesting at least and you know how I love my horror. I might check it out.

Strange Wilderness

The Plot: The two stars of a struggling animal adventure show look to give their ratings a boost by scoring footage of Bigfoot in the wild.
My Thoughts: Steve Zahn is a funny guy, but this looks like a Saturday Night Live skit gone too long. I'm guessing there's about 5 minutes worth of good humor. Rental.

Over Her Dead Body

The Plot: A ghost (Eva Longoria) tries to sabotage the fledgling relationship between her old flame (Paul Rudd) and his new, psychic girlfriend.
My Thoughts: Hasn't this been done to death? Get it? Death? Eh, anyway, I think the writer is the same guy who wrote John Tucker Must Die. Doesn't look like anything that would remotely interest me. Pass.

Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Tour

The Plot: A 3-D concert film of the 2007 Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus tour.
My Thoughts: This will be big, not only in box-office receipts but also will possibly set a record for the most text messages ever sent during a movie as well as the most North Face coats ever in 1 place that wasn't a retail store.
