Info Post

While in Paris, the action/comedy duo of Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and Detective Carter (Chris Tucker) battle a wing of Chinese organized crime.

If you want to have a chance at all of enjoying this film, you must first just forget how stupid it is. Chris Tucker's character is so over-the-top in situations that it's not remotely believable and lots of the fight/action sequences cause eye-rolls instantly. But you can still enjoy it.

Sure it's just a rehash of the first 2 films really. The plot is very minimal. If you've seen the first 2 movies, just put the same scenes in Paris and have them battle at the Eiffel Tower at the end and presto... Rush Hour 3.

But it's still sort of fun at times. I like Chan and Tucker together, even though Tucker starts to get on my nerves pretty quickly. They play off each other nicely with Chan being so dry and Tucker being so loud. Jackie whips all the butt while Tucker stands there and runs his mouth (although, he does do a bit of butt kicking in this one). There are some neat stunts and fun action too.

You could do worse than to see this, but it's not that memorable. This series really has no water left in the well after this. They definitel need to stop it at 3.

6.5/10
