A war re-erupts on Earth between two robotic clans, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, leaving the fate of mankind hanging in the balance.
Big, loud, dumb, campy, juvenille and over-the-top... all adequately describe this movie. Somehow though all together it's not a bad thing for the most part. The movie is still a whole lot of fun and delivers good laughs along with the "ohs and ahs".
I have a couple of complaints... it seems a bit too long I think, as they could have remove a lot of the "human" scenes and concentrated more on the Transformers. I also think some of the fight scenes and action scenes, there's just so much going on it's hard to tell what's happening at time. I couldn't tell where the Autobots ended and the Decepticons began.
But this thing has your action fill for the Summer. Really cool sets and wild sequences combined with spectacular special effets kept me riveted for the 20 minutes it runs too long. A loud, fun blockbuster of a film.
