Despite the fact that you can see how this is going to turn out in the first 5 minutes of the movie it's still OK to watch at times. There are a few decent laughs occasionally, but they're not abundant. There are some scenes with some robotic freak babies that are funny, John Krasinskin (Jim on The Office) has some good moments and as usual Robin Williams has some funny bits but really the funniest parts are the outtakes during the credits. Mandy Moore is very likeable and cute as a bug, so that's a plus. Several other regulars from The Office show up as well (the director Ken Kwapis did a season of The Office), so I had fun trying to spot them. See if you catch Kelly, Angela and Kevin.
Also I found it kind of neat that John Krasinski's real life parents play his parents in the film. I don't know what is neat about that, but it just is dammit!
But overall this felt to me like a film that Ashton Kutcher should have made, and that's never good. It's the same old formula that these "pre-wedding" films have and for a "feel-good" comedy, it just didn't feel that good... but is watchable.
5/10
