Wow, I don't know who was more tired last night after spending an entire day at Six Flags Over Georgia, the 2 kids or the 2 adults. I was exhausted! What a great park though, especially if you're a roller coaster fan. This Six Flags has a bunch of them, all shapes and sizes. Personally my favorite was the Batman ride. Lots of twists and flips and corkscrews, so many that I could barely walk straight for a minute or so after we got off of it. The Superman was ride was equally as thrilling, but you're laying on your belly in that one and I was scared to death the whole time! I prefer to be sitting. We rode a few of the old wooden ones too but those things aren't near as smooth as all the new ones. My old man back and neck can't take them as well. Here's my Six Flag tip... buy the Flash Pass. It turns your wait time for rides from 30 minutes to about 5 minutes. Worth the $20.

We were at the park for about 7 or 8 hours and still didn't even do all the rides. It's a gigantic park, seems much bigger than Six Flags Over St. Louis to me. Loads of fun had by kids and adults.

The ballgame on Sunday night was great as well. The Cards were down 2-0 but inched back with Pujols delivering the tying blow on a line-shot over the wall in the 8th. It was a great moment to be at the game live. I'd just said outloud (where all the Braves fans around the 2 of us in our Card's shirt could hear) that if they pitch to Albert here they're idiots. On the 1-1 count he mashed one over the wall. 5 runs in the 10th sent the home fans to their cars unhappy but the 2 of us delighted. Great park they have here though and we had some fun tailgating and walking around checking it all out.

As usual, we had a blast at the lake over the weekend as well. We were at Logan Martin Lake just outside of Birmingham at some family friend's place and they treat you better than you could wish from any bed and breakfast on earth. We at the most delicious crab legs one night with all the great beer after spending all afternoons on the lake skiing and boating and such.

Today... off to the World Of Coca-Cola and either the zoo or the Aquarium. I know somebody who'll be sleeping good again tonight.
