Info Post

A man's family is killed and he is brought back from the verge of death himself. He then realises he can identify people who are about to die. He begins to try to save people's lives, but soon realizes there are consequences.

This sequel is actually titled White Noise 2: The Light. I really have no idea why though as it has not a damn thing to do with the first White Noise. They could have easily just called this The Light as far as I'm concerned, or a whole other name altogether.

Anyway, what I thought might be an interesting concept really didn't get taken past the surface. It ends up just being more like one of the Final Destination movies more than an original horror film. I wasn't expecting much from it, so it was OK really as the pace is good and the characters are sympathetic enough. There are a couple of twists and it is interesting until it loses it's way towards the end... and especially at the end. I just didn't like the final scenes at all. It almost negates all the good build-up.

The editing and visual style were really good throughout but I thought the special effects lacked a bit.

But, it has it's spooky moments and I really like Nathon Fillion's acting job. He's got a lot of screen time so he needed to be good and I think he is in it.

I think it's an average horror movie worth seeing. Better than the first White Noise.

6/10
