I finally broke down and replaced my classic old-school iPod with a newer model. I stayed with the classic design, but stepped up from 20G with a black and white screen to 80G with a color screen, plus video capabilities. I don't care that much about the video really, I just want music. I'm up to 4,168 tunes and I can't wait to get to adding without worries of filling it up. I did end up putting a couple of Pixar shorts and music videos from Black Label Society and Ozzy on there just for the heck of it. And before you say anything, no that's not my iPod actually pictured with Nelly Furtado on it. She's not on mine (but ABBA is). That is my exact model though... classic in black. I love this thing. Of course I loved my old one and it was a sad moment putting him to rest. We spent a lot of time together.
A CD I'm sort of excited about finally hits the shelves today, Runnin' Wild from Aussie pub rock band Airbourne, out of Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia. They've got sort of an old school 80s metal thing going. I've heard 3 tracks and like them all. Check 'em out here.
Here's their vid for Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast:
